Nolan’s next film is a historical thriller about J. Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project that produced the world’s first nuclear weapons. In this film, Cillian Murphy plays the title character with a star supporting cast that includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr. and Rami Malek.

Benny Safdie, co-director of Uncut Gems and Good Time, appears in the film as theoretical physicist Edward Teller. In a recent Instagram post, he shared an image from the film and said, “I saw the film recently and I can tell you with certainty that this is Chris’ best film by far.” Everything is in full swing there.”
