The Asylum is known for producing the Sharknado films and other “mockbusters” that are reminiscent of current blockbusters in title and plot, but are inexpensive and produce direct-to-video. Her new mockbuster is about Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and is a sequel to her two films Transmorphers and Transmorphers: Fall of Man.
“20 years after the events of Transmorphers, a newer, more advanced species of alien robots descends on a rebuilt Earth and once again threatens to destroy the planet,” reads the official synopsis.
