The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts The box office got off to a strong start compared to its predecessors.
The seventh Transformers movie deserves it $8.8 million at the domestic box office in Thursday’s previews. That tops Thursday night’s previews for 2018’s “Bumblebee,” the latest Transformers movie. This franchise-rebooting film, which starred Hailee Steinfeld, grossed just $2.85 million in Thursday night previews, resulting in a franchise opening weekend bottom price of $21.6 million .
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts also grossed more than Michael Bay’s last Transformers film, 2017’s Transformers: The Last Knight. This film grossed $8.1 million in its preview and had $44.68 million in its opening weekend U.S. dollar. With box office forecasts predicting that the new “Transformers” will gross between $50 and $60 million, it looks like the Transformers franchise is on its way to box office success.
However, the film will increase in the box office during the second weekend of the superhero movie compared to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Only time will tell how the new Autobots movie fares.
