A new report on The working title of Venom 3 may have hinted at who the villain of the third film in the spin-off of Sony’s Spider-Man universe could be.

Who will be the villain in Venom 3?

Accordingly The cosmic circus, the working title for Venom 3 is Orwell. Rather than referencing famed author George Orwell, the outlet suggests it could instead be Venom-connected character Orwell Taylor.

In the comics, Orwell Taylor attempts to kill Eddie Brock/Venom after the antihero kills his son while escaping the Vault – a superhuman prison where Taylor’s son worked. He ends up assembling a team called “the Jury” whose sole purpose is to defeat Venom and bring him to justice. The working title suggests that Orwell Taylor could be Venom 3’s villain, following Riot and Carnage as villains of the first and second films, respectively.

Venom 3 is directed by Kelly Marcel, who is also writing the screenplay. Marcel previously wrote Venom and its sequel, as well as Fifty Shades of Gray and Saving Mr. Banks in 2018. It stars Tom Hardy again and is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker. Ted Lasso star Juno Temple has also joined the cast for the third film.
