The first The Witcher season 3 part 1 trailer is officially here, announcing an even bigger adventure for Geralt and his friends.
debut during Summer game festival 2023The new look at the trailer, the first long look at Season 3 of The Witcher Part 1, gave a sneak peek at some of the upcoming action, including Geralt battling some terrifying monsters once again.

What do we know about Season 3 of The Witcher?
The Witcher Season 3 Volume 1, which will contain episodes one through five, is slated for release on June 29 on the platform. After that, volume 2, which consists of episodes six to eight, will be released on July 27th.
“As monarchs, mages and beasts of the continent compete to capture her, Geralt goes into hiding with Ciri, determined to protect his newly united family from those who threaten to destroy them,” reads the season 3 synopsis. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads her to the sheltered fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to learn more about the girl’s untapped powers. Instead, they discover they have landed on a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and betrayal. You have to fight back, risk everything – or risk losing each other forever.”
The upcoming third season of The Witcher will be Henry Cavill’s last as the actor will leave the series and Liam Hemsworth will replace him in the role of Geralt of Rivia. However, Cavill will apparently get a “heroic farewell” in season three.
Based on the stories and novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher is created and produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who also serves as showrunner. Sean Daniel and Jason Brown of the Sean Daniel Company are executive producers, along with Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko of Platige Image.
