The Walking Dead: Betrayal is a third-person action game that supports multiplayer for up to eight players. It will be available on PC for $19.99, and while the game currently has no release date, closed beta testing will begin on August 10th. interested players can join the discord server of the title and sign up for updates for a chance to participate in the closed beta.

What is The Walking Dead: Betrayal about?

“In The Walking Dead: Betrayal, players are running out of resources and a horde of strays are on their heels. You must work together to complete objectives and escape,” reads the game’s synopsis. “They have to work fast because hikers aren’t the only threat they’ll face in rural Canada. As these survivors struggle to escape, “traitors” lurk incognito among them, plotting to do everything in their power to delay repairs and prevent anyone from leaving. As evidence of their sabotage emerges, paranoia and accusations threaten to tear the survivors apart as they desperately work to escape.”
