Pluto TV has partnered with Toho International to launch a new 24-hour program godzilla Channel.
In a press release, Pluto TV announced that its new Godzilla channel will launch in early July. “This must-watch channel will feature over 30 films from all eras, including some not otherwise available for US fans to stream, as well as the 1998-2000 animated adventure Godzilla: The Series,” the streamer explained. “The schedule also includes fan-favorite films Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah and Godzilla vs. Biollante, directed by Kazuki Omori, which have largely been unavailable for US fans to stream or purchase for many years.”
An official description for Pluto TV’s Godzilla channel reads as follows: “The King of Monsters has landed on Pluto TV! Since its creation in 1954, Godzilla has become a global icon and a symbol that transcended time and pop culture. After debuting as the terror that swept over Tokyo, Godzilla battled numerous enemies and made new allies across multiple eras. While each film stands alone in its own moment, Godzilla has evolved with advances in film and technology, as well as cultural trends, while remaining rooted in its 1954 origins. Today, fans can celebrate one of the world’s most iconic entertainment figures with the Godzilla channel collection and relive their favorite movie moments from the never-ending battle between Kaiju and humanity.”
