What is Season 2 of Good Omens about?

“Originally based on the international bestselling novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, Good Omens 2 explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the incredible friendship between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), a finicky angel and rare book dealer, and the “The fast-living demon Crowley (David Tennant),” reads the season 2 synopsis. “After the apocalypse was foiled, the two have lived on Earth since the dawn of time, returning to a relaxed life among mortals in London’s Soho. Until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) unexpectedly shows up at the door of Aziraphale’s bookstore, without remembering who he is or how he got there.

“While Crowley is suspicious as to why the archangel came to the bookstore, Aziraphale is desperate to solve the mystery behind Gabriel’s condition. However, the Archangel’s hiding from Heaven and Hell quickly throws their life upside down in unforeseen ways. To solve this mystery and thwart heaven and hell in the process, the duo will need more than just a miracle; They have to rely on each other again.”
