The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 Renewal Given by HBO

HBO has announced that The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 will be happening, as the beloved comedy series has been renewed. The move comes after the show’s third season received rave reviews since its premiere last month, with the season finale set to air on Sunday, July 30.

“Get ready for more of the hilarious adrenaline ride that is The Righteous Gemstones,” executive vice president of HBO Programming and head of HBO and Max comedy series Amy Gravitt stated. “As this truly biblical season comes to a close on Sunday night, I am delighted to announce that we are picking up a fourth season.”

What is The Righteous Gemstones about?

“The Righteous Gemstones tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work,” reads Season 3’s synopsis. “When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imagined and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price.”

The Righteous Gemstones is led by Danny McBride, who also serves as the creator, writer, and director of the series. Joining him are John Goodman as Eli Gemstone, Adam DeVine as Kelvin Gemstone, Edi Patterson as Judy Gemstone, Tony Cavalero as Keefe Chambers, Cassidy Freeman as Amber Gemstone, Skyler Gisondo as Gideon Gemstone, Walton Goggins as Billy Freeman, Greg Alan Williams as Martin Imari, Tim Baltz as BJ Barnes and more.
