The featurette offers a behind-the-scenes look at the next few stunts from the sequel, including a 21-minute one-take sequence in which a helicopter lands on a moving train. It also highlights Hemsworth’s dedication and determination in every action scene. It has been confirmed that he had to learn choreography from more than 2,500 films for the sequel.

What can you expect in Extraction 2?

“Having narrowly survived the events of the first film, Rake is back as an Australian black ops mercenary tasked with yet another deadly mission: rescuing the abused family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held be,” says the synopsis.

Extraction 2 will once again be directed by Sam Hargrave from a script by recurring screenwriter Joe Russo. Hemsworth will be joined by Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili and Olga Kurylenko. Like the 2020 film, it is also being produced by Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo via their AGBO banner, along with Hemsworth.

The original film was set in an underworld full of arms dealers and dealers. It’s about a little boy who becomes a pawn in a war between notorious drug lords. Extraction was well received, with critics praising the action sequences. In the first month of its release, it was the most-watched film on Netflix, reaching 90 million homes.
