Some of the biggest news about Netflix’s Tudum event has come as it was announced that Linda Hamilton is part of the cast of Stranger things season 5.
Hamilton is best known for his role as Sarah Connor in the Terminator series. She was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and one Emmy Award for her role as Catherine Chandler in the TV series Beauty and the Beast. In addition, she starred in Children of the Corn and King Kong Lives and had a recurring role in Chuck.

Who makes Stranger Things?
Stranger Things is created and produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as showrunners. The current cast is Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono and Brett Gelman.
The series is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. When a little boy goes missing, a small town unravels a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural powers and a strange little girl.
Season 4 also introduced a host of new fan-favorite characters, including Eddie Munson, Vecna, Argyle, Enzo, Chrissy, and Vickie, portrayed respectively by Joseph Quinn, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Tom Wlaschiha, Grace Van Dien, and Amybeth McNulty.
Executive producers are Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Iain Patterson. Alongside the upcoming final season, Netflix is also developing an anime series set in the series’ universe that will reportedly be set in Tokyo.
