The cast of Deadpool 3 is expanding with two recurring actors joining the MCU

Hildebrand reprises her role from the previous two films as the Negasonic Teenage Warhead, the antisocial and sarcastic X-Men member who can set off nuclear blasts. Kutsuna returns as Yukio, a Japanese ninja in the X-Men and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend in Deadpool 2.

What awaits you in Deadpool 3?

Ryan Reynolds returns as Wade Wilson / Deadpool, the foul-mouthed mercenary with elite combat skills and accelerated healing. Joining Reynolds is Hugh Jackman, who reprises his iconic role as Logan/Wolverine from the X-Men films. Details of the plot are currently under wraps.

Other cast members from previous Deadpool episodes returning for the third film include Morena Baccarin as Wade’s fiancĂ© Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Deadpool’s cab driver and sidekick Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, and Rob Delaney as the human X- Force member Peter. Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen join the cast in unknown roles, with the former serving as the main villain.

Shawn Levy will direct and produce Deadpool 3. Levy, Reynolds, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese and Zeb Wells co-wrote the screenplay. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin previously wrote a draft of the film. Reynolds will serve as producer along with Marvel’s Kevin Feige.

Deadpool 3 will be the first film in the series to be released under the Disney and Marvel banner since the 20th Century Studios acquisition. Rated R, it is the first film in Phase 6 of the MCU.
