The Boys season four is “even crazier,” says Simon Pegg

Speak with colliders, Pegg was asked about the upcoming season, which will see him reprise his role as Hughie’s (Jack Quaid) father. Pegg said he’s excited to be back with the crew and announced a “crazier” upcoming season.

“Do you know how crazy The Boys is? It’s going to get crazier,” Pegg said. “I had so much fun at this show. It was so great to go back and play Hugh Sr. I love Jack (Quaid). It was great working with Rosemarie DeWitt, who plays Hughie’s mom who comes back. That’ll be great. You will love it.”

What do we know about The Boys season 4?

The young is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—misuse their superpowers instead of using them for good. It’s the powerless versus the super powerful as the boys embark on a heroic quest to uncover the truth about the supergroup known as The Seven. The series retains most of the comics’ borderline violence and sexuality while exploring the dark side of superhero celebrity and fame.

The Amazon Studios series stars Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, and Karl Urban, as well as Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Claudia Doumit, and Colby Minifie.

Season 3 joined Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles as the infamous Soldier Boy, Katia Winter as Little Nina, Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order True Crime) as Supersonic, Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints) as Gunpowder, and Nick Wechsler (Revenge). as Blue Hawk and Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as the Crimson Countess.

Based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the series was created by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen – who also created AMC’s Preacher – and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke. Seasons 1 through 3 are available to stream on Prime Video.
