The Assessment is directed by French filmmaker Fleur Fortuné, his directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Nell Garfath-Cox, Dave Thomas and John Donnelly. The project is funded by the Filmstiftung NRW of the state of Cologne with one million euros. The film is a production of Number 9 Films and film production.
