What is The Archies about?
“You’ve seen her in comics, in books, and in Riverdale – but this time you’re going to see her in India,” reads the film’s log line. “Set in the ’60s, The Archies recreates a world that is both familiar and new.”

The Archies will be a coming-of-age story that aims to introduce a whole new generation of people in India to the now-iconic characters in the world of Archie. The film is being produced by Tiger Baby and Graphic India and will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
Not much is known about the film’s story yet, but it is set in 1960s India and will be directed by Zoya Akhtar.
