In a recent interview with screen rantEmmy-winning actor Brian Cox has opened up about the series finale of the acclaimed HBO drama successorand revealed which of Logan Roy’s children he would have picked as the next Waystar CEO.

While he feels that “none of them” can truly live up to his character’s legacy, Cox believes Kieran Culkin’s Roman Roy would have been Logan’s successor, as he believes Roman has the potential to evolve.

“The only one I think could ironically step in was Roman, because Roman showed a lot of sensitivity, especially when dealing with the Middle Eastern money – it was fake and he knew it and could tell.” Season 2,” Cox said. “I thought, ‘Wow, there’s potential in Roman,’ and I think there is. So I think Roman really, really loved his father.” I never watch it. If I can, I’d say doing it without even looking at it is bad enough. (Laughs) My wife, who was actually there, and she shadowed Mylod as an aspiring director, and then she got the role of my ex-lover, which I thought was kind of all in there, so it sort of came together in a way. (Laughs) But I saw it and just thought Roman is such a kid, he’s so lost and everything like that, it’s amazing.”
