Family Matters star Jaleel White has announced that he is a part of the upcoming Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

While speaks on Sportsnet During an Edmonton Oilers hockey game, White confirmed that he is part of the cast of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and will play a pirate in the upcoming series.
“I’m actually going to be in a new show on Disney+ with Jude Law called Skeleton Crew,” White revealed. “Yes, it’s coming out in…November/December and it’s part of the Star Wars universe. So that’s a big change for me, man. I had to put makeup on for two hours every day. I get to play a pirate.”
Developed by Jon Watts and Chris Ford, Skeleton Crew aims to capture the feel of classic Amblin Entertainment films. The series will be set after the events of Return of the Jedi. The project previously had the working title “Grammar Rodeo,” a nod to an episode of The Simpsons in which Bart runs away for a week in a stolen car.
The series is also executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy and directed by David Lowery. Production of Skeleton Crew wrapped in January.
