Star Wars Outlaws director Julian Gerighty spoke IGN about the game and reveals that the players will spend “a lot of time” in Jabba’s palace since they can work for the gangster. Not only that, players will even be able to betray Jabba, though the outlet notes that this decision “has its own consequences.”

“If you close your eyes and give people a choice of going anywhere in Tatooine? Mos Eisley,” Gerighty told IGN. ‘And specifically a pub in Mos Eisley. The chance is that you can see all nooks and crannies. You can see everything that emerges from the Lucasfilm archives… This concept of virtual tourism is important to us. What is Star Wars Outlaws about?

Star Wars Outlaws is being developed by Massive Entertainment and is scheduled for release in 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series
