From 2015 to 2019, Boyega impersonated FN-2187, also known as Finn, in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Despite starring in the first installment of the The Force Awakens trilogy, fans have criticized the script for the later episodes for not doing the character justice in a galaxy far, far away.
On an episode of “Truth or Dab Rapid Fire” of Hot Ones, Boyega rated all three films he acted in. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens is definitely the best,” said Boyega. “Second comes for me (The Rise of Skywalker). The worst – in the most respectful sense – is (The Last Jedi).”
“But they’re all beautiful,” he adds.
What’s the next Star Wars movie?
A spin-off movie starring Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker is in the works. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who previously directed episodes of Ms. Marvel, is set to direct. There is no set release date for the next film.
