Directed by acclaimed American filmmaker David Gelb, Stan Lee focuses on the title character who revolutionized the comics industry. The trailer showcases Lee’s history in the world of comics and also features him on the set of various Marvel Studios films.

Lee was born on December 28, 1922 and the documentary is celebrating its 100th birthday. The synopsis doesn’t reveal too much about the film, just teasing that it will be celebrating “100 Years of Dreaming”. 100 years of work. “100 years of Stan Lee.”
Lee is best known for being the co-creator of most of the main characters in the making of the Marvel Universe. These include the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Doctor Strange and more. He had appeared in 37 films over the past three decades, the most recent being 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
