The last player standing will win a cash prize of 45.6 billion KRW (about 34.69 million USD at the time of writing). Netflix renewed the series for the second season in January 2022. As already mentioned, the new part will go into production later this year.
Squid Game Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix. There is no premiere date for season 2 yet.
