The trailer too Special Unit: Lioness Highlights Zoe Saldaña’s starring role in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Paramount+ series, which premieres July 23.
According to the official synopsis, Special Ops: Lioness is based on a real-life CIA program and follows Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira) as “a rugged but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team. “Help bring down a terrorist organization from the inside out.” Saldaña plays Joe, “the Lioness program’s station manager whose job it is to train, manage, and direct their female undercover agents.”

Sherdian’s latest show stars Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly and Morgan Freeman in significant supporting roles. Other cast members include Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hebert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur and Hannah Love Lanie.
