Snowflake Mountain has been canceled by Netflix, confirming that the reality series will not be returning for Season 2.

meeting reports that the streaming service decided not to renew Snowflake Mountain after the show didn’t have the same success as other unscripted shows, such as Too Hot To Handle.

What is Snowflake Mountain about?

“Snowflake Mountain is a funny, warm-hearted reality show that puts a group of unsuspecting youngsters, who aren’t yet living up to their full potential, through their paces in a wilderness survival retreat in order to get them to stand on their own two foot,” says the official summary.

“The back-to-basics camp is a rude awakening to how spoiled her life has been. At stake is a transformative cash prize for the lucky winner. There’s no running water, no parents waiting for them, and worst of all, no wifi. But by connecting with nature, they will learn to graduate as fully functioning adults.”

The eight-part series, which offered contestants a chance to win a $50,000 prize, premiered in June 2022. The show was produced by Naked, Fremantle’s production company.
