When is the Shin Ultraman Blu-ray release date?
Shin Ultraman will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on July 11, 2023.
“As Shin Ultraman begins, we learn that the appearance of giant, unidentified life forms known as ‘S-class species (Kaiju)’ has become commonplace in Japan,” reads the official synopsis. The Japanese government formed a kaiju defense group called the SSSP, led by Kimio Tamura (played by Drive My Car’s Hidetoshi Nishijima). After a particularly challenging encounter, a silver giant descends from the sky to save the land. The identity and purpose of this giant, nicknamed Ultraman, is a mystery.”
The film is directed by Shinji Higuchi (“Shin Godzilla”, “Attack on Titan”). It stars Takumi Saitoh, Masami Nagasawa, Daiki Arioka, Akari Hayami, Tetsushi Tanaka, Hidetoshi Nishijima, and Anno and Bin Furuya as Ultraman. The film is distributed by Cleopatra Entertainment.
