Set photos and video by Daryl Dixon confirm Carol’s return in The Walking Dead spin-off

A new batch of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Set photos and videos of AMC’s upcoming horror spin-off are online.

Melissa McBride’s return as Carol has been confirmed after she was spotted filming with Norman Reedus in France. McBride wears a red leather jacket and sports her character’s signature hairstyle from previous seasons of The Walking Dead.

The Daryl Dixon series was originally announced as a Daryl and Carol-centric project. However, McBride decided to leave the spin-off after her 11-year stint on the original series.

What can you expect from The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon?

“Daryl washes ashore in France and is trying to figure out how he got there and why,” the log line reads. “The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.”

Reedus will be joined by Clemence Poesy, Chernobyl actor Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi and newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.

The series is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard and is executive produced by showrunner David Zabel. Producers are Reedus, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang and Daniel Percival.
