What is Secret Invasion about?

“Set in today’s MCU, Fury learns of a covert invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls,” reads the series log line. “Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who have made a life for themselves on Earth.
