Secret invasion Director Ali Selim called the series “a six-hour movie” and discussed the possibility of a second season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series.
In the latest edition of SFX MagazineSelim called Secret Invasion “a six-hour movie in its own right,” then commented that he’d like to do a second season of the show.
“I hope you end up feeling full and complete,” Selim said. “And since Marvel is doing a great job at that, you also feel like, ‘Oh, it could go in this direction.’ Nick Fury is alive and fighting on, I don’t think that’s a spoiler alert. And there are some characters who are no longer with us and some characters who will have yet another challenge. I would love to see this challenge become a second season.”
When will Secret Invasion premiere?
The premiere episode of Secret Invasion will be released on June 21, 2023 on Disney+. Each episode of the six-part miniseries will premiere every Wednesday until the finale on July 26, 2023.
The show stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman and Don Cheadle as their roles from the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Characters portrayed by Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman will also be introduced to the MCU.
