“A contemporary retelling of the classic French tale about Arsène Lupin, a gentleman thief and master of disguise,” reads the official synopsis. “As a teenager, Assane Diop’s life was turned upside down when his father died after being accused of a crime he did not commit. 25 years later, Assane takes inspiration from “Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar” to avenge his father. His revenge includes a risky museum robbery that involves him stealing Marie Antoinette’s necklace from an auction.”
