Adult Swim’s series debut My adventures with Superman was an instant hit. Critics and audiences alike praised the light-hearted and refreshing interpretation of the well-known story of the title character. It currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Now series creator Jake Wyatt has confirmed this Twitter that season 2 is on the way.
The second episode, titled “My Interview With Superman,” is scheduled to premiere on July 13, followed by new episodes every Thursday. Encores of new episodes air Fridays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim and Saturdays at midnight on Toonami. New episodes are also streamed on Max on Fridays.
What is My Adventures of Superman about?
“The series is an ongoing coming-of-age story about twenty-something Clark Kent, bright and ambitious Lois Lane and her best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and what they can achieve together as teenagers,” The Team for investigative reporting at the Daily Planet,” reads the summary. “Our trio adventures, defeats villains, stumbles upon mysteries, and discovers what it means to be heroes yourself.”
My Adventures With Superman is produced by Wyatt, Sam Register and Brendan Clogher with co-producer Josie Campbell. The series includes the voices of Jack Quaid as Clark Kent, Alice Lee as Lois Lane and Ishmel Sahid as the voice of Jimmy Olsen. It comes from Warner Bros. Animation.
