Actor Sean Gunn has detailed his two roles in the upcoming DC Studios animated series creature commands.
Who does Sean Gunn play in Creature Commandos?
In an interview with comic movie, Gunn delved into his two Creature Commando roles – the characters of Weasel and GI Robot. For Weasel, Gunn said fans will learn “a little bit more” about the character.
“I love this project,” Gunn said. “The scripts are so good and we’ve already done a little shot that’s fun. I can hint and tease that we’ll learn a little more about Weasel, which will be interesting.”
On the other hand, Gunn stated that he is very fond of the character of the GI Robot – a robot whose only goal is to kill Nazis.
“I just love GI Robot so much. He’s driven by just one thing: his hatred of Nazis and his desire to kill as many Nazis as possible,” Gunn explained. “So as someone who hates fascism in all its forms, I can relate to someone who wants to go out there and beat up some Nazis.”
Creature Commandos is the first project in the new DC Universe by James Gunn and Peter Safran. The animated series stars Viola Davis, David Harbour, Sean Gunn, Frank Grillo, Indira Varma, Alan Tudyk, Maria Bakalova, Zoë Chao and Steve Agee, among others.
