A LinkedIn post may have revealed the star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Robert Downey Jr. was on the set of the upcoming sequel Captain America: Brave New World.
Keynote speaker Nawar Shora posted on LinkedIn about how the Captain America sequel was filmed near his own office. Shora states that during a brief conversation with a member of the film’s security team, he was told that Robert Downey Jr. was on set the night before and that “they drove all kinds of supercars”.
“They are filming Captain America 4 around the White House and near my office,” he said LinkedIn post reads. “I went for a quick errand when I noticed all the lights and appliances and ended up asking one of the security guys about it. He was so chatty and nice, said – (SPOILER) – Robert Downey Jr. was there last night and they drove all kinds of super cars. We had a good chat and a little laugh.”
Who is making Captain America: Brave New World?
Captain America: Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah from a screenplay by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier executive writer Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The film stars Anthony Mackie in his role as Sam Wilson, who has now officially landed the role of the MCU’s new Captain America. He is joined by returning Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly, who reprise the roles of Joaquin Torres and Isaiah Bradley, respectively.
The Incredible Hulk stars Tim Blake Nelson and Liv Tyler will also reprise their roles as Marvel villains Samuel Sterns/Leader and Betty Ross, 15 years after the Edward Norton-led film made its theatrical debut. New World Order will also introduce MCU newcomers Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross and Shira Haas as Sabra, with Xosha Roquemore and Seth Rollins in undisclosed roles.
