What issues does Vin Diesel have with Jason Momoa?

In a new report, RadarOnline finds that Diesel blames Momoa for the poor reviews Fast X has received. Although the film was a box office success, it received mostly negative reviews, with critics decrying the film’s plot and offbeat action.

Although Momoa was mostly praised for his portrayal of Dante, the report said Diesel was not pleased that Momoa was credited as one of the few bright spots in the film.

“Vin is embarrassed that Jason is being branded as the only bright spot in the film, coming out on top of the franchise he built himself,” a source told RadarOnline.

The report also mentions that insiders say Diesel has been telling people that Momoa’s “over the top” and “scene stealing” nature was a factor in the poor reviews and undermined the film. RadarOnline’s report also mentions that Momoa is aware of Diesel’s feelings, although it’s unclear whether or not this will result in changes.

Diesel is no stranger to having issues with the cast of the Fast & Furious franchise. Previously, he and Dwayne Johnson had notorious issues that ultimately led to Johnson leaving the franchise. Though those issues have since been addressed, Diesel still seems very sensitive to the franchise he holds dear.

Fast X is now in cinemas.
