Netflix has announced the official release date for the highly anticipated premiere of Recording of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2. New episodes of the hit fantasy anime series will be available for streaming on July 12th.
In addition, a brand new major art poster was unveiled, theming Buddha’s epic battle against Zerofuku. Character pictures have also been released, giving fans their first look at Hades, Hajun, and Beelzebub, who will be voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu, Tetsu Inada, and Daisuke Manikawa, respectively.
What is the Record of Ragnarok about?
“Mankind’s greatest heroes fight against the gods for the survival of mankind,” reads the series synopsis. “Every millennium the gods gather to decide whether humanity is worthy of survival or whether it should be destroyed! If the verdict is destruction, the final battle between the gods and mortal heroes will decide the survival or annihilation of mankind – a battle known as the Ragnarok!
Record of Ragnarok is based on the manga Record of Ragnarok written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The anime series adaptation is by Graphinica and Yuneta Company. The first part of Record of Ragnarok season 2 ended on a cliffhanger where Buddha shocked everyone after declaring himself humanity’s newest champion.
