The Yellowjackets Season 2 DVD release date was announced by Paramount. The physical release of the ten-time Emmy-nominated series will be later this year.
When is Yellowjackets Season 2 coming out on DVD?
According to Paramount, the Yellowjackets Season 2 DVD release date is set for October 10, 2023, when the series will air all nine episodes.
Included on the DVD are a handful of bonus features, including a behind-the-scenes look at all nine episodes of Season 2, a cover of Alanis Morissette’s “No Return,” and a mini-documentary entitled “Creating Yellowjackets,” which covers the making of the series.
“Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama, it tells the story of a team of extremely talented high school girls who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness,” reads the series synopsis. “The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but successful team to savage clans while also tracing the lives they tried to piece together nearly 25 years later. This proves that the past has never really passed and that what began in the wilderness is far from over.”
Yellowjackets starring Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmine Savoy Brown, Steven Krueger and Warren Kole. Season 2 also introduced Emmy-nominated actress Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under, Servant) as the adult Van Palmer, Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi) as the adult Lottie, and Elijah Wood as the citizen detective Walter.
Yellowjackets is created and produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. Executive producers are Drew Comins, Karyn Kusama and Jonathan Lisco, who also serves as showrunner. It is produced by Entertainment One.
