Original high school musical stars reunite in Season 4 clip

Before the last season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Seriesa new clip previews the return of the original cast from Disney’s cult classics.

The latest clip features the music video debut for “High School Reunion,” a performance staged during the season leading up to the August 9, 2023 premiere.

Notably, four alumni from the original High School Musical films will return at the performance, including Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu), Taylor McKessie (Monique Coleman), Ryan Evans (Lucas Grabeel), and Martha Cox (Kaycee Stroh).

What do we know about High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 4?

“In season 4, the Wildcats return to East High where they are preparing a stage production of 2008’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” reads the logline. “But in a series meta-twist, plans are thwarted when Disney announces that the long-awaited film, High School Musical 4: The Reunion, will be filmed on location at their beloved high school.”

The eight-part series, which will be released all at once, features a large ensemble cast. In addition to Wylie and Bassett, the cast includes Dara ReneƩ, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders and Liamani Segura.

Recurring guests include Mark St. Cyr, Matt Cornett, Larry Saperstein, Joe Serafini, Adrian Lyles and Saylor Bell Curda.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is executive produced by Tim Federle and Oliver Goldstick, and the original film is executive produced by Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush.
