Who is involved in the Ocean’s Eleven prequel?

The untitled prequel to Ocean’s Eleven is set in 1960s Europe and will be directed by Jay Roach from a script by Carrie Solomon. The project is produced by Gary Ross, Josey McNamara, Michelle Graham, Tom Ackerley and Olivia Milch.

The upcoming film is said to be a remake of the original 1960 film directed by Lewis Milestone. It starred members of the famous Rat Pack, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. The film was also directed by Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning veteran actress Angie Dickinson.

In the early 2000s, Steven Soderbergh directed the remake of Ocean’s Eleven, which also featured a star cast led by George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Its box-office success led to three more episodes, including the spin-off Ocean’s 8, which starred Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean, the sister of Clooney’s Danny Ocean. The franchise currently has over $1 billion in worldwide box office grossing.
