HBO and NFL Films have confirmed the 2023 release of the hit series Hard hits the New York Jets will perform. It premieres on HBO on August 8, 2023.
What do we know about the new season of Hard Knocks?
The series, titled Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the New York Jets, follows third-year coach Robert Saleh and the rest of the Jets team as they enter training camp for the 2023-24 NFL season and themselves prepare for the playoffs.
The Jets were part of some major moves in the NFL offseason — most notably acquiring superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. The team also features reigning Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, and star defensive players CJ Mosley and Quinnen Williams. They’re likely to play big roles in the five-part series.
The series will again be voiced by Liev Schreiber – the voice of all previous 17 seasons of the miniseries. The series premieres on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, with hour-long episodes premiering every Tuesday before the season ends on September 5, 2023.
“NFL Films has a long and storied relationship with the Jets, from the early days of the AFL and Joe Namath’s ‘#1’ salute after Super Bowl III to The Sack Exchange and the team’s first appearance on Hard Knocks in the Middle of Me I’ve appeared in back-to-back AFC Championship Game appearances,” said Patrick Kelleher, Executive Producer, NFL Films. “The 2010 Jets changed the profile and success of ‘Hard Knocks’ forever. This Jets team made football fun for the fans. And now we look forward to a new partnership with this legendary organization and HBO to write another chapter in NFL and television history, filled with great people and a roster that is striving to reach new heights of success.”
The Jets previously starred in the 2010 HBO series Hard Knocks and had one of the biggest moments in the entire history of the series with the coach Rex Ryan’s “Let’s get a snack” speech..
