When is the release date of the new lift?

Originally slated for an August 2023 release, Lift’s new release date is set for the film to make its Netflix debut on January 12, 2024.

“An international robbery crew is recruited to prevent a terrorist attack and must pull off the robbery mid-flight on an airplane,” reads the film’s synopsis.

Directed by F. Gary Gray from a screenplay by Daniel Kunka and Jeremy Donner. Hart and Mbatha-Raw in Lift are joined by Vincent D’Onofrio, Billy Magnussen, Úrsula Corberó, Kim Yoon-ji, Viveik Kalra, Paul Anderson, Sam Worthington, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno and Burn Gorman.

Elevator is produced by Gray, Brent O’Connor and Patricia Braga as Executive Producers, with Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon serving as producers for Genre Pictures, Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho, and Hart and Brian Smiley for HartBeat Productions.

This is Hart’s most recent collaboration with Netflix, having worked together on films such as the comedy Fatherhood and the buddy comedy Me Time, as well as the variety special Kevin Hart’s Guide to Black History. Mbatha-Raw also previously starred in the popular San Junipero episode of the Netflix series Black Mirror.
