Netflix schedule June 12-18: New series and movies will be added

The highly-anticipated sequel to Extraction is the hottest title to premiere as part of the Premiere Netflix Schedule for 12-18 June.

On Friday, June 16, Netflix will add Extraction 2 to its available content, one of the most anticipated Netflix movies of 2023. Directed by Sam Hargrave, the upcoming action movie will see the return of Marvel Cinematic Universe star Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake. the Australian black ops mercenary. “Extraction” was one of the nicest surprises of 2020 thanks to its gripping action sequences that captivated viewers and made it the most-watched film on Netflix in its first month of release.

Following their MCU collaboration, Hemsworth and Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo are teaming up again. The Russos are producing Extraction 2, with Joe also serving as screenwriter. The film also stars Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili and Olga Kurylenko.

Netflix will also release Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King on Friday. The upcoming movie is part of the popular Black Clover series but will tell a brand new story. It will include the return of Asta and other familiar faces from the Black Clover series. Fans unfamiliar with Black Clover should watch the series on Crunchyroll and Funimation as it is not currently part of the available Netflix content.
