Joel McHale is back in Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match
Accordingly IGNSet in both Hollywood and the Underworld, the film revolves around Johnny Cage, who did not star in the previous film. Set in the 1980s, Johnny sets out to find his missing co-star, which takes him into “a world of shadow, danger, and betrayal.” Then Johnny faces a “sinister secret society plotting a nefarious plan” and battles the warriors of the Netherrealm.

Ethan Spaulding is back to direct, while Jeremy Adams, author of the last three entries, is back as screenwriter. Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind director Rick Morales will serve as executive producer. Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon are executive producers.
