Season 5 is set to resume starting on Wednesday, October 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with each weekly episode streaming the next day on Peacock.

What is Magnum P.I. about?

“Magnum P.I. is a modern take on the classic series centering on Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator,” reads the series’ synopsis. “A charming rogue, an American hero and a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, Magnum lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The 10 episodes that make up Magnum P.I. Season 5, Part 1 first aired on NBC from February 2023 to April 2023.

Magnum P.I. is an updated version of the 1980s series led by Tom Selleck. It was developed by Peter M. Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim, with Jay Hernandez in the titular role. Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Amy Hill, and Tim Kang also star.
