The changeling has a September 8 premiere date on Apple TV Plus, along with first photos previewing the LaKeith Stanfield horror series. Accordingly TVLineThe three-episode series will premiere before switching to a weekly release schedule by the finale on Friday, October 13.

What to expect from the changeling
Based on Victor LaValle’s bestseller of the same name, The Changeling has been described as an “adult fairy tale.” A horror story, a parenting fable, and a perilous odyssey through a New York City you didn’t know existed.”
In addition to Stanfield, known for his starring roles in the acclaimed series Atlanta and the film Judas and the Black Messiah, and Backo (Letterkenny), the series also stars Adina Porter, Samuel T. Herring, Alexis Louder, Jared Abrahamson and to see the special guest Malcolm Barrett. It was written and adapted by showrunner and executive producer Kelly Marcel. The pilot episode was directed by Melina Matsoukas.
The Changeling is produced by Apple Studios and Annapurna. In addition to Stanfield, Marcel and LaValle, executive producers include Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu and Ali Krug EP on behalf of Annapurna; Matsoukas through her De La Revolución Films banner; David Knoller and director Jonathan van Tulleken; Sue Naegle and David Wolkis. Khaliah Neal is the co-executive producer.
