Kevin Spacey believes he can make a comeback in his career if he is cleared of a litany of sexual assault charges, the actor said recently.

Speak with time magazine In a rare interview for the actor, Spacey said he knew people were “ready to hire him” once all the allegations were cleared up, but didn’t go into specifics.

“I know there are people at the moment who are willing to hire me as soon as I am acquitted of these charges in London. The second that happens, they’re ready to move on,” Spacey said.

Spacey is currently scheduled to appear in court in London on June 28, 2023 on multiple charges related to a handful of alleged sexual assaults between 2001 and 2013. While Spacey has denied all allegations, he also said that due to the charges he believes people are “scared” to support him.

“It’s a time when a lot of people are very afraid that if they support me, they’ll get canceled,” Spacey said, also pointing out that he doesn’t think his reputation will ever be restored, which he has the media for Blamed her “best to turn me into a monster, but I’ve seen nothing but affection from humans.”

Last year, a New York jury concluded that Spacey did not sexually assault actor Antony Rapp, who first took action against Spacey in 2017. Spacey says the results in London should be similar to those in New York.

“The moment you look closely at them, these things fall apart,” Spacey said. “That’s what happened in the Rapp trial, and it’s going to happen in this case too.”

Spacey’s career, once celebrated as a legendary actor, came to an abrupt end in 2017 when he was accused of making sexual advances on then 14-year-old Anthony Rapp (an actor who appeared in a Broadway show with Spacey) in 1986. Allegations followed, leading to Netflix cutting off Spacey’s planned film Gore and removing it from the final season of House of Cards.
