Did Thanos Kill the Collector?
Gunn was asked by a Twitter User if Taneleer survived Tivan/The Collector Thanos’ attack on Knowhere in Avengers: Infinity War as the production notes of the recent Marvel Studios sequel states that the Guardians bought Knowhere from Tivan.
The filmmaker confirmed that The Collector did indeed survive the attack by Thanos and sold the inhabited celestial head to the Guardians of the Galaxy to use as a new base of operations.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was again written and directed by James Gunn. MCU veterans Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel return to reprise their respective roles as Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Kraglin, Nebula, Mantis, Rocket and to repeat Groot. Bodies Bodies Bodies star Maria Bakalova stars as Cosmo the Spacedog.
The sequel also introduces franchise newcomers Will Poulter and Chukwudi Iwuji, who play the roles of Adam Warlock and the High Evolutionary.
