The trailer offers a glimpse into the secret romance between Gina (Sofia Wylie) and Ricky (Joshua Bassett) with guest appearances from original high school musical stars like Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, Alyson Reed and Kaycee Straw. Check it out below:
What you should know about High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 4
“In season 4, the Wildcats return to East High where they are preparing a stage production of 2008’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” reads the logline. “But in a series meta twist, plans are thwarted when Disney announces that the long-awaited film, High School Musical 4: The Reunion, will be filmed on location at their beloved high school.”
The eight-part series, which will be released all at once, features a large ensemble cast. In addition to Wylie and Bassett, the cast includes Dara Reneé, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders and Liamani Segura.
Recurring guests include Mark St. Cyr, Matt Cornett, Larry Saperstein, Joe Serafini, Adrian Lyles and Saylor Bell Curda.
