A new Heartstopper Season 2 Trailer The Netflix queer romance-comedy series previewed its second season ahead of its debut in August.
What happens in Heartstopper Season 2?
“Nick and Charlie are coming to terms with their new relationship,” reads the Season 2 synopsis. “Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges, and Tao and Elle consider if they can ever be more than friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.”

Heartstopper is led by Kit Connor as Nick, Joe Locke as Charlie, Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, William Gao as Tao Xu, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, Tobie Donovan as Isaac Henderson and more. Olivia Colman also returns as Nick’s mother in the new season.
Season 2 will also feature new cast members Leila Khan as Sahar Zahid, Jack Barton as Nick’s older brother David Nelson, Bradley Riches as James McEwan and Nima Taleghani as Mr. Farouk, as well as Bel Priestley as Naomi, Ash Self as Felix and Thibault de Montalembert as Nick’s father Stephane. Heartstopper Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on August 3 on Netflix.
Based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series of the same name, Heartstopper was written and created by Oseman, with Euros Lyn serving as director; The series is produced by See-Saw Films.
