What does Hayley Atwell think of her cameo in Doctor Strange 2?
On the Happy sad confused podcast Atwell had mixed feelings with Josh Horowitz about appearing in Multiverse of Madness. Atwell called it a “frustrating moment” given her character’s limited time in the film.
“I’m like, ‘That wasn’t my decision,'” Atwell said of the cameo in Doctor Strange 2. “When she said, ‘I could do that all day,’ and then immediately got cut in half by a frisbee. And the audience said, ‘She can’t do that all day.’ Apparently you can’t, so balls in the face.’ That’s not really good for Peggy.”

Atwell favors her character’s role in the animated series What If…?, where Peggy is given the Super Solider Serum in place of Steve Rogers to become Captain Carter.
“I felt like I had a lot more work to do in What If…?” animated series,” Atwell said. “I really liked that because they could just give her more duties than Captain Carter, Captain Britain. So it felt like such a frustrating moment in Strange. . . She had less to do than before the sign.”
Atwell is next seen starring in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, which is in theaters now.
