Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe has commented on the idea of a cameo in the upcoming HBO reboot TV series.
Radcliffe portrayed the famous wizard in the film series from 2001 to 2011. Since his last appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, he has appeared in films such as The Lost City and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. The Wizarding World has now been expanded to include three films in the Fantastic Beasts series, which serve as a prequel to Harry’s story.
Will Daniel Radcliffe be in the Harry Potter reboot?
HBO recently announced that they were rebooting Harry Potter with a TV adaptation of the JK Rowling novels for Max. Radcliffe told it recently ComicBook.com on the potential of appearing on the new Harry Potter show.
“I understand they’re trying to start from scratch and I’m sure whoever is making them wants to put their own stamp on it and probably doesn’t want to figure out how to get old Harry to be in this movie Anywhere,” says Radcliffe. “So I’m definitely not looking for it. But of course I wish them all the luck in the world and I’m delighted that this torch has been passed on. But I don’t think I have to do it physically.”
