Amazon Studios released the first Good omens Clip for the second season of the upcoming return of the hit fantasy comedy starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant. The next part will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video on July 28th.
The video shows Sheen’s Aziraphale interrogating Jon Hamm’s Archangel Gabriel, who suddenly appears naked in front of his bookstore. The amnesiac Gabriel revealed that he felt something terrible was about to happen to him and that the only way to prevent it was to give Aziraphale something important that Gabriel had already lost.

What can you expect from Season 2 of Good Omens?
“Good Omens 2 explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the incredible friendship between Aziraphale, a finicky angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-moving demon Crowley,” reads the synopsis. “Having thwarted the apocalypse and having lived on Earth since the dawn of time, the two are once again able to live a leisurely life among mortals in London’s Soho. Until the archangel Gabriel unexpectedly shows up at the door of Aziraphale’s bookstore, without remembering who he is or how he got there.
“While Crowley is suspicious as to why the archangel came to the bookstore, Aziraphale is desperate to solve the mystery behind Gabriel’s condition. However, the Archangel’s hiding from Heaven and Hell quickly throws their life upside down in unforeseen ways. To solve this mystery and thwart heaven and hell in the process, the duo will need more than just a miracle; They have to rely on each other again.”
Based on the 1990 novel by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, the series stars Michael Sheen as the finicky angel and rare book dealer Aziraphale and David Tennant as the fast-paced demon Crowley. They are joined by returning cast members Jon Hamm, Doon Mackichan, Gloria Obianyo, Derek Jacobi, Liz Carr, Quelin Sepulveda, Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith, Niamh Walsh, Shelley Conn, Paul Adeyefa, Michael McKean, Miranda Richardson and Maggie Service , Reece Shearsmith and Nina Sosanya, some of whom will portray new characters.
Good Omens is created and executive produced by Neil Gaiman, who will continue to serve as showrunner alongside director Douglas Mackinnon. Executive producers are Mackinnon, Rob Wilkins, John Finnemore and Josh Cole, with Finnemore co-writing season two with Gaiman.
