Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Star Felicity Jones will star in and produce a Formula 1 television series entitled “One”.

meeting describes One as “a family drama series set in the high-risk world of motorsport,” noting that the series is the first scripted series to be officially sanctioned by the organization. The series follows the “turbulent rise” of a fictional family-owned Formula 1 racing team and aims to blend fiction with the world of F1.

Although pending resolution of the writers’ strike, the series will be written by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, who will also serve as executive producers. Though they’re probably best known as the creators of The Expanse, the duo also wrote 2008’s Iron Man alongside Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.
Tony To will serve as executive producer for Bedrock Entertainment alongside Dan Sackheim and Philippe Maigret – President and CEO of ITV Studios America. Finally, Alexander Jones will be producing with Felicity for her Piecrust Pictures banner.
